A NEW WAY TO TRAIN YOUR DOG
'Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.'
Your dogs best trainer, is you. The only thing that may be holding you both back is understanding what is expected to get results. At Dundee Dog Club, we do things differently. Rather than ask you and your dog to perform for an hour in a training class, you can learn alongside your dog, at your own pace, with help when you feel you need it. You may never feel like you need a dog trainer again. Held within our daycare centre, we have a relaxed atmosphere, with a full range of equipment on site, separate training areas, trainers on hand and quieter areas.
Whether you want to learn the basics of training your dog, are already happy with your training progress but would like to include training safely around other dogs and people, find you are not sure how to progress your training, or would like to learn how to get the best from your dog, this may be the solution for you.
We have limited spaces and once spaces are filled, you can be moved onto our cancellation list for membership if you choose.

OUR CLUB RULES
ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS OR LONGLINES IN THE CENTRE
Keeping everyone safe in our top priority. Leads are the easiest way to ensure easy management.
RESPECT EVERYONES SPACE
Others may have different needs to you and your dog. Leave more than a leads length between your dog and another dog.
BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER
We have a zero tolerance policy for uncivil behaviour in our centre. Anyone using derogatory language, making others feel uncomfortable, using physical violence to humans or animals, or using illegal substances on site will be asked to leave.
ALL DOGS MUST BE IN GOOD HEALTH TO ATTEND
If your dog has a communicable disease, has diarrhoea or vomiting, you MUST keep your dog away from our centre or leave if these become apparent when inside. Our centre is a working daycare during the day and we will not put our dogs health at risk If your dog has a physical injury, you may still attend but may have to rest your dog more often than usual.
CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF AND YOUR DOG
Accidental pees, poos or treat related mess, should be cleaned up by the owner.
DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO URINATE OR DEFECATE INSIDE UNLESS AT DESIGNATED PEE SPOTS
Dogs should be taken for a pee/poo before entering and be taken outside at regular intervals.
DO NOT ALLOW YOUR DOG TO DESTROY EQUIPMENT
We understand wear and tear will happen, but you must not allow dogs to purposefully destroy our equipment. Any purposefully damaged property will be chargeable.
DOGS WITH A BITE HISTORY SHOULD ENTER THE CENTRE WITH A MUZZLE FITTED
To reduce the likelihood of an incident, dogs with a history of bites should enter and leave the centre in a muzzle. This can be removed in certain areas inside.
BITCHES IN SEASON ARE NOT PERMITTED INSIDE OUR CENTRE
Seasons can be stressful for your bitch and can be stressful for the dogs around them. We ask that in seasons girls do not attend.
ALL OWNERS SHOULD BE CONFIDENT THAT THEY HAVE FULL CONTROL OVER THEIR DOG
Whilst in the centre, your dog is your responsibility and as such, you should have the ability to control and manage your dog at all times.
ALL DOGS SHOULD HAVE ADEQUATE INSURANCE PRIOR TO ATTENDING
Dundee Doggy Daycare and Dundee Dog Club are not responsible for any illness, accident or injury sustained during attendance to the club within the centre and accepts no liability in the event of an illness, accident or injury. If your dog is not insured, you accept full responsibility for your dogs health and wellbeing.
MEMBERSHIPS MUST BE UP TO DATE BEFORE ATTENDING
We operate under a monthly membership fee which gives you and your dog access to the centre during our club times. Fees will be taken automatically each month, which you can cancel at any time. If your fee is cancelled you will not have access to the centre.
NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 ARE PERMITTED IN THE CENTRE DURING CLUB TIMES
Not every dog is confident in the presence of children, to reduce risks we ask no children under 14 attend the centre. Children aged 14 - 17 may not attend without an adult handler present. All main handlers should be aged 18 or above.
NO MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE PER DOG MAY ATTEND
Our centre has a limited capacity and in order to ensure we have enough room for activities, we ask that each dog has a maximum of two people present at any one time.
